To be honest, the moderator system is just the forum rules, there isn't a lot more than that except some behind the scenes red-tape which doesn't have a visible effect on the forum. If you don't break them, you're likely to have few encounters with it, and the encounters you do have will be stories of mods making mistakes or people moaning because they have infractions, it gives a pretty warped view tbh. It's either that or telling him off, and I don't want to face hell
Some secrets aren't known, but as far as people see it, the moderator system pretty much is seen by members by what you do and your actions. Other than the completely crazy decisions which end up getting reported in the feedback forum anyway.
I doubt I could find much in the mod guide that I'd get fired for telling you, what you see is pretty much what you get.
I only thought it was because I saw someone get a warning then 10 seconds later they were cautioned, but I suppose thats just quick work on the smod's sideIt was pure speculation that the autobans had already come inplace, when they had not.
They are, however, now inplace and the automatic banning of accounts will begin at 4pm.![]()

There's no need to break any forum rules in the first place so you shouldn't be so worried.![]()
I got the infraction message on 'e5safetyban' yesterday.
I scanned through everything so I don't know if this has already been explained, but is this rule still in position when it comes to 'already existing' infractions? Do you have to have 5 active infractions to gain a ban, or when you've HAD 5 infractions?
It's just when you fall for rule traps, where you say something harmless but a moderator who takes something small, acts petty, then warns a member about something so small and trivial, where warnings and rules are an issue.

Ostinato...
Slightly Obsessed with Mrs. Aguilera
I also want to know if people will receive an email when they have received a ban or caution with an included message stating why, or is this a case of the unforgettable "let's not communicate with members and pretend we're bigger than them" which seems to be quite a big problem at the moment. Whoever is in charge of certain areas in Management forget they're part of a social site and completely ignore most issues on their social site, completely breaking down the whole point of a Habbo fansite and of course, forum.

Moderators would be no longer if they were like that.
It could before.
So how comes that hasn't been solved? Drum it into moderators and other super moderators that they need to look at a situation, not a post. They don't have to act immediately and remove a post and warn/infract ASAP. What I don't understand is why you can't let members moderate their behaviour... If someone calls someone a berk, ask the person it was aimed at if they took offense. If they didn't, leave it, or add a very small message somewhere to keep on topic, which isn't necessary either. At least communication between members and moderators will gradually build up, rather than ignore members and take the social low road...
Now it's automated, and can be abused moreIt could before. What happens if a member has an 'unfair warning?' Because I can see people getting ignored, yet again for their actions even when they ask politely...
