i was hoping henry would score, came close twice through. Game didn't live up to the hype it was given, as it was mainly Barca on the ball who didn't create many clear cut chances.

That was pretty boring. Second leg should be much better, with both teams going for it rather than one team passing it around creating one half-chance per 10 minutes. I want Barca through, Liverpool to win overall.

That was awful. Ok, Man U didn't concede but going forward they should be ashamed of themselves. The deliveries up-field were Derby standard!

Was a display I expected from United really.

Knew they'd set out to defend and try barca on the counter, shame that their counter attacking was medicore.

Fergie made a massive mistake in playing park.. what does he see in him, he's just completely out of his own depth. Anderson should of featured at least for 20 minutes, as he's good at both ball winning and breaking away with it.

Defensively, Man U were really on top of their game, even without Vidic. Course barca had their moments but 85% of attacks were sorted out by Man U.

Overall, Man U played to get the result they got, always going to be a "if only" moment about the penalty, which would have changed the complexity of the game entirely. Let's hope we don't regret it.

I don't blame United for playing defensively at all. But you need to worry about Barca scoring in the return leg, any slice of bad luck can result in conceding a goal. Anything can happen.
    Seriously.

Agreed about the second leg being much better. I think Liverpool have a good chance, especially after the performance from defenders! I've never seen headers of that quality!

I think United should've went for it, because now they run the risk about losing an away goal at Old Trafford. Barca have a real chance of winning now, especially since they have the chance of getting an upper hand now. Anything can happen though, so true.

I think all the quality is going into the Premier League & not the Champions League! It's making the english teams look so bad lol.
