Back when the throne was released there was so many in circulation it was like a duck back then, through time more users left and more thrones went out of the market. Of course there are habbo's who are also keen to make a quick hc or two so they sell them higher, the people they sell them to do it even more, majority of the times they dont get what there asking for and have to settle for their buying price or 0.5-1hc above that.
Our Rare Values Reporters/Trade Experts/Head Rare Value Reporters see these changes in the price and report them to Immenseman and myself, we update the values according to our reporters, they report the values according to what you see, so to answer your question, they are going up because they are a popular rare that is in demand, people see this demand and try to make a bit of profit.

And it indicates nothing, its means the LACK of competition for Habbox so they can do whatever they want with there prices.

and also another good point there are there are even less Holoboys/Russian Sams on the Hotel and Habbox has these priced at 1.0-1.5
There is more than one rare value site for Habbo UK, there are more than 2, there are more than 10, there are loads. The fact that these aren't even heard of tells you one thing and the fact that the majority still use Habbox tells you another.

The Rusian Samovar and the Holopod aren't worth as much because they're not wanted as much, like I said before the rare values market works on demand. If the rares are in demand they will increase, this is what happens and I thought you'd realise that because you have posted a report in the report rare values forum which shows understanding of this.

This is how the market changes, if people really wanted mochas (never going to happen ) then they would begin to add a little bit of profit, nudging the price up slowly. This has happened with the throne. I don't see why people think this has gone up so quickly, it has risen slowly since 2002. I gave you proof of it tripling in value from 04-06 and it has only just doubled from 06-08 this month...

If you were selling a throne, you would sell it at the highest price people would be willing to pay.
There will always be the same amount of thrones in the hotel, but many people with thrones will eventually become in-active in the hotel, which is another reason for the increase.
Also as there are more Habbo's, thrones are becoming more popular, so people are willing to pay more to get there hands on one.
Thats my opinion on it anyway.
    whatever tickles ya pickle.

What a load of ******** 'Coz the rare values manager has loads to sell' you have no ******* clue what goes on behind the scenes. i was a RVR for a short ammount of time and if you like you can sit in trade city just to see habbox's reporters looknig up values!

Immenseman (The rare values manager) does NOT have loads of thrones and if you think habbox is so bad go to HHGS but i suppose you think they do the same?!

    ---

And in answer to your question: The reason thrones have rose so much, is because people that own throens realised they could sell them for more and people are willnig to pay it.

if everyone refused to pay the ridiculous price that they are, then they would fall (That would be my paradise!)

    ----

Unless you have been a rare Value Reporter then don't blother flaming the staff, as they work extremely hard on keeping habbos up to date on values. Without habbox or HHGS (Mainly habbox imo) the trading world would go mad.

INFACT i would love to see some of you do a better job, than the current staff.

    ----

People that just accused habbox of making up values, have just embarresed yourselves and habbox's community.
Someone needs to take a chill pill..

Anyway totally agree I think theres something behind the throne being sold for so much, because I've asked numerous people who sell and buy thrones who haven't got a clue on why there so highly priced, it all comes down to inflation and curruption tbh.

The fact that me and PaulMacC don't have thrones and are the only two with the Rare Value Panel access must tell you something. I suggest you go and look around the trade rooms and then pay notice to Habbox, you will notice something. For example lets say on Monday people begin paying 60hc per throne and that's the only price people are buying and selling for then you will notice on Tuesday the throne value will be 60hc. We only update to what is being traded. You say you haven't got a clue on why they're so highly priced? I suggest you stop looking for someone to blame and actually look at what they're selling for. You will then see quite clearly there is no corruption.

There are more than the RVRs who are disagreeing with you. Just from memory I seem to remember e5 and FlyingJesus disagreeing with you both who aren't RVRs .

Like others have said its a mixture of many things. 1. the fact that it is desired, 2. as people left the amount of thrones dropped loads, 3. people try and get the most they can for them. And all these people who say the RVR team is corrupt maybe you should try get a trial and see for youself how it is done and the fact it can't be corrupt as we'd all have to be corrupt on the same piece of furni at the same price which is kinda stupid as theres quite a few of us and probaly all of us would never do that....
    I've left. I'm back.

Well, I dunno how it come but people just want them?
If people are rich they are willing to pay more for a throne to get one immidiatily then shouting 100 times in a room for 1 hc less.

When i started playing the throne was 18 hc. (2004)
When i quited the game for a while it was 52 hc (2007)
And now in 2008 there 60 hc.

    Off-Topic
The owner of the habbox site (My friend sierk) does not change values to make profit.
He doesn't buy like a purple dragon and then raise the price to 100t...
But in 2005. a Rare values Reporter did do that. He changed values so much , with the rares he had. And he made huge profit. Also habbox had a fake login once and much people lost there thrones then. What a story LOl,,
