No, the quality is persistent with friends' consoles.

And no, the controller is by no means difficult to lift , it is just unnecessarily weighty.

It doesn't matter, both have good and bad points, 360 users don't like PS3 controllers because they're too light and/or small, PS3 owners don't like 360 controllers because they weigh "10 tonnes"

Personally I think both controllers are fine, Sony shouldn't of bothered with the triggers though, they failed

The 360 mic isn't that bad, I can talk and my friends hear me fine, same for my friends talking and me hearing them

Also Purple, you are turning into a massive fanboy, the PS3 doesn't have "bigger juicy games" they're about the same, if you think about it, you're not getting more gameplay, you're getting better graphics, this extra space on the disks isn't making the game any longer at this point in time

Ok well mine and my mates headsets are perfect, and I find the controllers to be perfect.

I'm afraid to say but I agree with everything you have just said.

oh noes, I dun wunna sound like a small minded drone

I've been try to say it, but my tainted fanboyish babble has held me down. Each of the 3 consoles are like ice cream, you do always have a favourite flavour. Each has + points and each has - points as you said.

Please forgive my fanboyish rambles, guys.

I tried out a Dualshock 3 the other day, same weight as a 360 controller

They use the 360 controller in the army for controlling numerous things, they use them because they have more buttons that they can use to control whatever it is they are controlling. I own a PS3 and I think the controller is much more simple to use and lighter/comfier. I have gone from a PS3 fanboy to liking both of them almost the same, I will always be a playstation fan though.

80GB Launched tomorrow, I'll be seeing if I can get any cheap.

There are very few games that are taking advantage of this extra space, most of your exclusive games have either done badly - Haze/Lair or done alright - R:FOM MGS4. Most of your exclusives have been ported though, Alan Wake, Strangehold etc etc.

MGS4's claim of filling 50GB of a blu-ray is laughable, the game is only 12 hours long and when I downloaded the MGO beta, twas only 768 MB with 2 maps. The only reason I can think of filling it up is the environments and weather effects, that Octocamo probably takes up a couple of gigs of space.

The only game I've thought of, which could really take advantage of blu-ray storage, is FFXIII, but thats 360 now so we might get the same planned 130 hour game or a downgraded version to make it fair, so it can fit on a 360 DVD disc.

I dunno if we'll see games harnessing the power of PS3 until another 2-3 years or so. Blu-ray WILL evolve, but not for another few years or so.

I personally think the PS3 has more good exclusives then bad ones. I can only think of a couple of bad ones, however Uncharted, Resistance, Motorstorm, MGS4, Warhawk, Rachet and Clank are probably some of the best games out at the moment.

And Neil, I don't think your in any position to be calling anyone a fanboy, despite what you and other forum members say, I remain defiant in my opinion that you are perhaps the biggest fanboy on this forum.

Yup, got my Wii cable today - so all three are working again

Out of the three; the Wii is best for local multiplayer
360 is better for online multiplayer
PS3 has the better graphics, at least, on my crappy TV it has
