I personally can't see why people like this at all. First thing I need to state is Jme, this is not an insult to you or your work as I know you have made some great designs.

But this is aweful, it hurts to look at as the colour just do not "hug" each other, creating a nasty clash in some areas. If your going to use a dark background, make the main content alot brighter and bolder, for example make the box blue, with white text. I don'y know what else to say about it, I just really do not like (personally).

Again, before people get on their own high horses and start flaming me for having an opinion, its my personal opinion so Jme can decide to take it into account, or not.

That's fine. I can accept that as your opinion, atleast it's constructive and not just "It's crap"

I guess it just comes down to people tastes again. People like dark templates, others don't
