    and erm i normally get one main thing and little things like clothes, smellys n sweets etc. this year i'm getting a phone for 150 n some clothes rly. i don't ask for much cos my mam n dad have 4 kids lol .

    It is too commercialised and these days it is all about money....

    I have no problems with shops wanting to cash in - many of them rely on it - it just annoys me that it starts at the end of October.

    Christmas would be much, much better if it started on the 20th December and finished on the 27th - there'd be more of a novelty to it.

    It just drags, the way it is at the moment - there is no magic to it. I work retail and by the time Christmas actually comes I couldn't really care less about it - I'm just grateful for a day off and the chance to eat some good food and get drunk with my family.
