Hey I recorded a version of Broekn Hallelujah myself but it sounds a bit rubbish I think, would you please listen to it and send any feedback that i could use to make it better. Link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Rqn_UMXjsI.

why don't they do a spin-off to the X-Factor.. like a song writing version of it? winner pens the winner's song.

oh and it doesn't really matter what you personally think of the song.
if everyone thought the same it wouldn't be verging on selling a million..
    thats why i said a new/unknown song
rumours were this years winners single was going to be Jordin Spark's winners song, 'This Is My Now', I'm pretty sure the average listener/watcher wouldn't have known it was a cover, which is why it would have worked well, as did 'AMLT'. Also YT has been around since early 2005, 'AMLT' was released late 2006.

to be honest, any single generated by a programme watched by 14 million people every week, for months on end, would have alot of sales. expecially the 'hype' that x factor churns.

dont get me wrong alexandra has a good voice, but i can't see anything special about her yet, to me atm shes just another beyonce/whitney clone. guess i'll have to wait till her first non-cover single...

you're only pissed because diana didn't win
and i'm fine with her being a "beyonce/whitney clone" because truthfully, the UK R&B genre has no UK leading ladies beyond alesha dixon ;/

why is that always the case?
not everyone is going to find someone special or amazing about her voice, and its nothing to do if their act won or not.

i think that alexandra is world class, but i wanted JLS to win for other reasons (not because they're fit, they were!)
but personally, alexandra's version is okay, but i dont like a girl singing it tbh, rufus wainwrights version is my favourite tbh. and alexandra's version is kinda starting to annoy me cos it's played so much, but i also dislike how they brought a choir in at the end..
