Lets not forget Israel have had Gaza under siege for years. Let's not forget Israel restrict all electricity, food, water and all othe resources going into Gaza. Lets not forget Israel have turned Gaza into what is essentially an open air prison.

You have some very good points there, but remember when Hamas would get suicide bombers into Israel and of course, blow them selves up? This is when Israel implemented the security, and they don't restrict food and water, they check it before it passes through the border to make sure Hamas doesn't end up with more weapons.

Lets not forget guys that Hamas was firing rockets into Israel for years and Israel was letting it happen, imo i think they have simply had enough.

Leaders have to say things to protect themselves, and their reputation, hence they say things to impress 'superior' countries.

Are you forgetting Israel? They supply Gaza's residents with a lot of food and water. This is the first time in history for a country facing daily attack to supply the fuel, power and raw materials used against itself.
