I think my earliest memory was in Nursery, when we were celebrating my birthday, and we had a chocolate cake and I couldn't blow out the candles.

First day of nursery, my mum lifted me through the door and I was holding onto the frame really hard crying, took the teacher and my mum and after about 10 minutes of crying I went and it wasn't that bad
That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.

My earliest memory is of walking into the living room, seeing my mum really ill on the couch, then lying down next to her. Not sure how old I was then, must have been about 3.
The only reason I remember that day is because it was the day before my mum went into hospital with pneumonia and I went into foster care for a bit.
