when i was abit younger i had quite a few spots so i went to my gp and she subscribed me something called zineryt which contained zinc and i had to put it on instead of using a facial cleanser. i put it on and within around 5 days to a week most of my spots had gone and if they hadnt then they had lost all redness! it was amazing. i also got some anibiotics that help with spots and even though because of the prescriptions i dont have any spots anymore, i still take these everyday out of habit and to prevent spots. its really good and i think if you are worried you would try this.

    hope that helped

I used to use Zineryt. Didn't work. So now I'm on Tetrasyl 300 tablets and Isotrex gel.

Nope it probably a main cause for spots tbh, as you wash out of natural stuff that keeps spots away. Just keep the cream on, or act your doctor for a stronger cream. Just don't wash your face with soap.

yeah, my first dose of zineryt was amazing but my second and other doses after that didnt work as well. i think it may have been the transition to it that worked well.
i use the tetrasyl 300 tablets! i think they work ok, but i suppose thats because zineryt worked so fast and tetrasyl 300 is a slow pacer tablet. how are you finding the tablets?
i havent heard of that gel, but a couple of months ago i was prescribed differin gel to put on after cleaning my face and i found it burnt my skin! -- it left red patches on the sides of my face and on my neck which took about a week to clear and were really hard to cover even with foundation and concealer. so yeah, veered away from that one, haha.

i take one a day, how about you? yeah, they dont seem to be doing anything really. however, as they are antibiotic they have prevented me from getting sick a few times, haha. i used to be really prone to tonsilitis before i took these and now i never get it like i did and ma' says its because i have loads of antibio in me, haha.
yeah, same. -- i hardly ever eat junk food so i dunno whats going on there.

Yeh, the tablets didn't work for me either.

I think it all depends on the person, but seeing a doctor is the best option =]
