I reckon with a bit of know-how and no crap you could do it in 17 hours (Taxi's everywhere) and if you were very good at it, just about 15 hours.

My mate did it in 16 hours, but he just did mission after mission, not watching any of the videos, or messing about. Took me 31 hours so I didn't get the achievement. Spent too much time trying to make Michelle to like me, only to find shes working for the cops. :rolleyes:

There was 4 years between SA and IV, they're not gonna release one every year.

That's because they had to completely design the engine due to next gen console (e.g moving from Xbox/PS2 - X360/PS3). I think maybe around August - November 2010.

Back on topic, I completed the storyline (on my second playthrough) in 17 hours taking cabs everywhere and skipping most of the boring cutscenes but still watching the exciting ones e.g the bank scene. I accidentally overwrote my main save file with like %91 so I have had to start again, but I love playing it. Currently in the process of buying a capture card so I can record and upload stunt montages and glitches to youtube etc. I love GTA IV
