With respect, how old are you?I personally believe there is no such thing as teenage love.
I haven't had a proper girlfriend. Ever.
But, am I mad? I mean all these songs with stuff about love and everything in it, I don't feel anything for them at all. I think its all fake, and I know it might sound harsh but lol idk, just what I reckon anyway. Anyone else feel the same? I don't know a single person who thinks the same as me. I think that girls at this age are timewasters and it never usually lasts longer than 2 weeks with most people (the people I know anyway).
Precisely.

Love is there for everyone. It doesn't matter how strong or how weak the love is, it's still there. You will have love for someone maybe, but it's just not as strong which makes you think the way you do.
I've been infatuated a million and one times, but only ever legit been in love once, and it wasn't until I was 17 and took me well over a year before I was entirely certain and comfortable with saying it to them. So yeah, I have to disagree with you on how you think teenage love doesn't exist, but I will say it is rare to find. It really just depends on the emotional maturity of the people involved (if they're willing to commit and aren't the flighty types that go from one gf/bf to the next every other week) and if the people really do go well together or not and can compromise with each other. I also personally believe the amount of time you spend with them will go a long way towards leading you to falling in love. Thats partially what makes it so hard to fall in love when you're a teen.. You might only get to be around them in school or just from time to time, as opposed to spending a LOT of of your time with them in various locations, or even living with them once you're an adult. I think it's impossible to fall in love if you don't spend a lot of time with a person or at least if you can't be around them physically, talk to them a ton/get to know them well, which like I said makes it difficult for teens since so many aren't willing to commit the time/take the time to get to know someone. I know I certainly wasn't willing for the longest time! I was all about the looks haha.
And for the record, love is a wonderful experience at the time, but I once heard this quote that was so irrefutably true. The truth is when you love someone, you give them the power to destroy you. And sometimes the people you love are crazy or immature or things change, and despite any promises they make about never wanting to hurt you, they'll still end up completely ripping your heart and your life apart. Don't listen to me though really, I'm just bitter and jaded![]()

I've pretty much quit Habbo & Habbox, but I still stop by every once in a while. If you knew me, send me a message saying hi, and I promise I'll get back to you! Miss all you wonderful people who saved me from boredom all those years.
I do think there is a such thing as 'teenage love' some people just have to wait for the right person![]()

your not bitter and jaded... they really DO rip you apart ive felt it. and when you think of them with someone else you just wanna be sick or if they insult you or something i dnno.
its not 'teenage' love. the short term for that is a crush
ive felt it... yet i was only 12 when i did? lol it sounds young doesnt it. but i did i felt that crush when i was 12.
butterflies and all:rolleyes:
now im almost 14and i still like that guy - even though i never see him anymore so i prove you wrong on tha tpart where you say something like oh you cant crush on someone you dont see daily cause you actually do cause i did and do now!
for one and a half years... wow!
lol bak to the point.
crushes arent hard to find rlly...
anyways the guy who posted this post in the first place... you must either be an asexual which means you will never have true feelings for anyone, or just late developing in love/crush or whatever you wanna call it!
kkz all things answered happy you should be klklx![]()
Just cause you aint felt it doesnt mean its not possible.
There is no specific age at which you can experience love, the end.
I love it when youflex like that
i do sorta know what you mean but i dont agree with it.
i do believe in teenage love if you find the right person but also i think the word love is thrown around too much these days which is probably what confuses you and other people.
alice ;Disabella smith owns a small piece of me.
Seconded.
I have to disagree, just because you've had no experience of it or haven't seen it properly doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
I'd say it does exist, but you have to work for it, like someone has mentioned you can't just talk for a bit then go out, that just isn't gonna work. Great things require time.
You have to get some relationships down, or you'll be really frijid and be lacking experience which helps.
