Let's change some things about Runescape section.

Sorry for double post. Merge please. But... here's 40 off-topic posts from the Runescape section, if you can't be bothered to go see it yourself

Major contradiction on your part there. There are only a few quotes from each person there, I'm sure plenty could be found for you. (see my earlier post, they were found in 2 threads)

During the time period that you haven't been posting in the section (about a day) it has been much quieter and spam and argument free.

The majority of the posts you quoted were off-topic and included a few from each members in plenty of threads. You are just as bad as them, probably worse. As I said before, go back a couple of pages and look at the quotes from you from about 2 threads. (I don't have enough time on my hands to scour through 10 threads to find a couple for each member)

As many people have previously said, I think the problem is you. The whole 'hostile environment' and 'bullying' has only really started since you have been making threads like this and making smart remarks. You joined the forum 2 moths ago, and have never previously posted in the section before that. You wouldn't know what it was like before. It's certainly not as bad as it has been.

JackBuddy was rather lenient saying you're smart and witty, what I imagine he means is provoking and pretending to appear smart. Which basically means, don't act dumb, but don't act like you own the place and try to provoke people, thus going off-topic and beginning arguments.

I think it's safe to conclude that the problem is Laggings. He's clearly provoking these responses in the RS section by responding like he thinks he's better than the users and crys (re: this thread lol) whenever he gets a couple of aggressive responses.

BUT thats my opinion, don't get into a hissy fit over it.

And those sorts of snide responses are what causes the arguments. I was about ready to argue Charles's point until I read that post; if that's the sort of thing you're posting its no wonder you're getting those sorts of responses!

But what I said before still stands. The problem is the majority of users can't take the jokes they seem to fight so hard for the right to make and get into massive arguments about small things.

there's nothing wrong with the runescape section. it's been worse, haha.

i've been posting there for almost 4 years now on many different accounts, i've seen alot happen there, like back when the runescape section and the "off-topic" section hated eachother for no reason at all.

although it was best when all of the runescape forum mods actually played the game so they knew what was pointless and what wasn't but these days nothing gets done because noone can be bothered to report 200 posts a day. It is full of spam and jc does think he owns the place but who cares? it's just a forum.

and laggings, i've never started anything with you and you've never bothered me, much but with the rs section these days it's a dog-eat-dog world. If you don't have mates there then noone cares about you at all. also it's full of bum lickers, like it always has been. All the oldies there will agree with me that the section was most best during the 05-06 era but sadly, it'll never be like that again.

Posting this thread isn't going to help anything, that's why we never bother asking for improvements for our section has the management have never given a toss about us.

No one has spammed yet? It's a mostly sensible thread, spam would be pointless/meaningless posts.

Almost everyone's agreed with you that the section is crap, it's just when looking into it, it turns out you're one of the people making the section crap, therefore it's backfired on you but the important point still stands, there's a lot of idiots in the section (Looking at nobody in particular) and it needs sorting out.

We've discussed the problems and concluded that they are you. End of.
