But that doesn't mean he will win the race - just because he was the fastest. I thought you were knowledgable in this subject? It's not a drag race is it where just being the fastest wins.

He is a fighter though - he will push hard. Just hope he doesn't push so far that he ends up in the barrier. He has done well to even drag that car around this season to get into quali 3.

    Back from my shower.

You do know that the 0.025 seconds that Button had over Raikkonen amounts to about a meter in length? a meter in length is a big margin over 60 laps, after the 60 laps Button would be 60 meters ahead of Raikkonen (not necessarily, just proving a point) and 60 meters would equate to about a 10 seconds lead.

Which in Formula 1 is a big lead and especially a big lead on the Monaco track because it's so difficult to overtake...

And I hope Vettel and Alonso end up in the tyre wall together, the German is a smarmy git, and the Spaniard is a cocky git.

I'll never get bored of seeing a Brit in Monaco (which is practically France) kicking all the foreigners asses.

will never get tired of it

If only it was as simple as that theory. Driver performance, fuel loads, fuel stops, traffic, reliability of car. etc etc. The strategy is as important as the speed of the car in F1. Also Kers can give a great advantage to getting to the first corner. Have to say I am not so keen on Alonso myself after his
attitude to Hamilton but I think Vettel has a huge future in front of him and
don't see anything remotely smarmy about him at all.

Don't give up! Barrichello is pretty good at this type of circuit.

That's why I put in brackets (not necessarily, just proving a points)

even with the points you mentioned, they will make Brawn pull even farer away from Ferrari, as they are that good and have the best boss of them all, Ross Brawn.
