I think it could be like this

say England have scored 200 (10 runs an over
Pakistan have scored 100 (5 runs an over)

That leaves a gap of 100 which when divided by 20 gives 5 so England's run rate would be +5 and Pakistan's would be -5

Oh man! Deep down I had a feeling England stood a chance (and I even said it in the other thread or this one ... I cant remember) but I really did think Pakistan could pull it off.

I didnt watch the match and havent read up on it either so I have no idea what went wrong for Pakistan.

Now I hope Netherlands beat Pakistan, but I reckon Pakistan will end up beating them.

Nope, it has to be a wider margin than they lost to England. I think 55 would be a good approximate.
