Have any of you ever played the old CoD games? Some of them are superior to 4.Anything compared to that pile of crap is good. Call of Duty WaW is probably one of the worst Call of Duty games. It has so many flaws it's unbelievable. You wont notice until you've played Call of Duty 4. I can easily get a 3:1 K/D each game on Call of Duty 4, an even better one if I am host or the opponents are noobs. I can get it in WaW too but so many things prevent me sometimes, makes me furious!. A list of problems I've encountered with WAW - horrible spawning, overpowered weapons, horrible host migration, horrible map design, maps are way too big. The only thing WaW has going for it is Nazi Zombies. World at War did a few things right (Taking out Frag x3 and replacing it with Frag x2, Some good new game modes) but the amount of things it did wrong overshadows that. Oh another thing, dogs dont get me started on those lol. I better shut up now, this is turning into a rant.
On topic ;; Just another 5 days to go, hopefully. Does anyone know if it will definatly cost 1200 M$ points?
Also, playing shooters on a console when there's a PC version available is ******* stupid. PC was, and always will be, best for shooting games.

It's not stupid if you don't have the money for a PC or just don't like playing games on PCs.
Also I agree on the CoD comment, CoD1 on the PC and CoD2 were amazing.![]()
It's not that bad, the graphics are awesome and the story is always a high point by Treyarch, the multiplayer was a let down since it was pretty much a carbon copy of MW so it didn't really hold my attention but the campaign is always the best part of CoD games anyway.
WaW is much more realistic when it comes to war aswell, shooter games should be stuck with realistic operations, not the rubbish they shelled out in CoD4, it was just plain stupid, look at the Conflict Desert Storm games, they were good examples of modern shooters.
Depends whether you're looking for realism or not, people complain when things aren't realistic and beam at new games which look realistic however I think we all know realism doesn't make a great game, it's a combination of that and an arcade shooter. Frontlines, Battlefield Bad Company, Conflict Desert Storm etc are all very realistic compared to COD4 but I personally find the games dreadful (although a good simulator), and that's the general opinion when looking at sales.
People think realism is good when watching trailers etc but in reality a shooter game which is an exact representation of a real war would suck.
I think Battlefield 1943 is a good mix, it's realistic how the environment is so destructible, yet in reality it would be much easier to kill people.
