    What he said.

The 360 is and always has been better than the PS3. The only reason to buy a PS3 is the hot exclusives coming out/ already out (LBP, Batman Arkham Asylum DLC, GOWIII, GT5, MGS4 and many many many more), they're all worth it. Even if it does mean buying the PS3.

Not really. Id like to see your findings to why ps3 is worse then 360 when it's not in most cases.

thanks for all the reviews and opitions of the consoles ive now gone off the dsi and now im stuck between the ps3 and xbox 360

down sides and upsides that was said before.

    PS3:
i know alot of mates with ps3 so i can play them online + i like the games on the ps3 the only games id like to play that i know of on the xbox 360 is halo serires i have owned a ps3 before and i like the fact u can use the browser and that but i dont like the price ye it was said about a blu ray player but tbh i dont see the differance between normal and blu ray so it would be wasted on me lol.

one thing i want to know is the 80GB PS3 able to play PS2 games or was that only part of a limited amount of 60GB PS3's?

    XBOX 360:
i dont know that many people on xbox i dont mind paying the charge of the cost of gold membership as its just a one off payment each year which is nout really if u think about the amount i will use it.

one thing i want to know is with the membership does it mean u dont need to buy boradband to play online or do u still need to pay that as well as the mebership to play online?

no, you still have to have a broadband connection to play on xbox live as well as xbox live gold subscription.

if i was you i would go for the one which most of your mates have as its fun playing with them.

But if i was to say a console it would be 360 due to me being familiar with it and most of my mates have it and i just prefer.

how about a wii they are really not fun
Do you ever feel like you want to go home?

Learn how to spell and use capital letters & punctuation please.

Anyway's if your friends have PS3, then get that. Much better playing your mates. And yes, the new revision's don't play PS2 games.

Sorry, but why the hell wouldn't you have to pay for broadband because you've payed for a gaming service?

I'd probably go for PS3 then if your mates use it, but if you're not going to play on the same games as them I wouldn't let it influence your decision.

If it comes down to money then the Xbox 360 is the clear choice, and although Xbox 360's may cost a bit more than the initial price because of the live subscription, you don't pay a big sum at once cause you can just update Live membership when you want, it's not like when you buy it you must by 3 years of live membership.

As for strategy games, it's quite well known that PCs are far superior for strategy games but the PS3 and Xbox 360 both have things like Command & Conquer: Red Alert and Tom Clancy's End War. However the PS3 doesn't have Halo Wars which is an awesome strategy game, especially if you like the Halo series.
