yoshi, you're saying you can apply for a provisional 3 months before you're 17, I applied for mine when I was 16 and a few months, and got it. I didn't drive a moped or anything (as they're stupid, slow and annoying) but I just got it to save the fuss. I started learning to drive when I was 17 and passed in a month or so. although you can get your provisional when you're 16, you can't drive until you're 17.

yeah u can apply for ur provisional from like 16+ onwards. Just you can't drive a car until ur 17 which is what I said earlier in thread

Yeah, some courses you have to sit in with other drivers as well. My instructor says they are not very productive.
