There is no post on a Sunday, thus the earliest you will get it is Monday. You wont get it Friday, that's 4 days before release and it's breaking retail law.
GAME have to be careful when they send it as if they break the retail street date law which is something like selling 2+ days before release they get a fine.

But once they're dispatched the game is in the hands of the delivery service not the distributor.

It may say 'Dispatched' but how can you be for sure? Unless you have a tracking number then you've no way of knowing for certain it's on the way.

If it has been dispatched to the courier, the sender (in this case game) can request to have the delivery put on hold until the day when it is legally allowed to be delivered.

I remember this happening with something else, where DHL held the order until delivery was allowed by the sender.

There is no chance of getting it this week, read Johno's post above. Just for further evidence GAME just tweeted about 6 mins ago.

Just to clarify, preorders are always planned to reach you for release date. MW2 is being prepared early due to volume.

It's unlikely anyone will get it before Tuesday, it'll be just like GTA4, everyone expected it early but it was a high priority so it was held until the actual release date, despite it being despatched 3 days before hand.
