hmm i got recommended to get a thicker radiator as the XSPC RS240 one is thin so wouldn't be good temp wise, so went with the RX series and got the XSPC RX240![]()
I was on my phone in bed when I posted that so my advice isn't going to be spangly.
Watercooling is a gimmick with i7, you can get a 4ghz overclock on air, have it running nice and stable and barely hear the fan on a Noctua NH-U12P.
Seeming as you're spending £170 odd on a motherboard, get a Gigabyte EX58-UD5 (I use it, rock solid), tis about the same but it's blue. And Gigabyte. Gigabyte is good.
Also get rid of the GT260, get a 5870 or a 5850 depending on budget (if you can find them). ATI are currently superior and should be for the time coming.

it is just videos by bill wurtz videos you have been warned
is what i've got so far. stil looking into the mobo.
I changed the case as the antec apparently has a stupid design and would be annoying to fit the rad in.
I changed the PSU as i wanted modular one.
Removed the pointless 4m of hose and sticking with 7/16"
Changed clips and anti coil as i changed hose size.
I've been told PromoChill recently has bad shipments of its UV as in dodgy colours so changed the blue (as i'll mostly be using blue and ThermoChill doesn't have red)
Added fan controller as the Xilence fans, as i've been told will give off some amount of noise when running at 12v.
Thats all i've changed i think.

If I were you I would get rid of the Watercooling and get an SSD along with that 1TB drive to store your OS and any games on.
And IMO you need a better graphics card to go with that i7, if you aren't going ATI then at least get a GTX275 or whatever the next one up is from the 260

I want watercooling as it looks sexy.
And ill look into the gtx275.
I agree. Ditch the cooling and spend the saving on better parts. Also ditch the retail DVD drive and get OEM.If I were you I would get rid of the Watercooling and get an SSD along with that 1TB drive to store your OS and any games on.
