It depends when the 'original' room was actually made.
You don't have to be on Habbo in '01 to see an original room made in '06 and then remade in '09, which is basically what happened here (except different dates obv)

But I honestly think its bad to think that the first ever design of something is the best, and anything new is just plain rubbish, lets take computers for instance, they're made by many different companies, many new designs keep coming out, and people buy new ones.

I had not seen anything like it back when I made this (early 2007), and its not like Ive copied any room to the exact detail, yes there is rooms with the same theme of using pura or mats to make a space invaders room.

Theres 100's of Casinos on Habbo and I'm sure people will agree when I say theres some pretty awesome ones which arnt original, its just their take on a casino, and for me its just my take on space invaders.

I'm basically saying, In my opinion the original isn't always the best.

In reply to your originality paragraphs, yes, sometimes newer is better. But what you're doing is not grabbing a design and editing it to make it newer/better. You're talking a design, copying it to the exact pura, and putting some sofas around it.

Looks miles better! I would suggest looking to make a collection of rooms around this theme (retro games). I don't know how easy others would be to create, but just use a bit of imagination then you'll have a whole collection that this can be part of and people will be less inclined to complain .

If he can actually make one of a retro game that hasn't been done, I'll rate it highly. I've seen everything from space invaders to pacman to pinball.
