What's the point in the ACON taking place anyway, it doesn't mean anything, why six months before a world cup? why in Angola? why not somewhere more safe?

1. ACON is like the Euro Championships - I bet you want that to happen.
2. It means that whoever wins is the best team in Africa.
3. It's probably the only time they can schedule it for.
4. Angola probably won the bidding.
5. Nowhere in Africa is safe.
6. A bus driver died - how is that unhurt?

Going to have to agree with thyflux. The point is that it's a continental cup just like the Euros and is important to Africa. Also according to reports 9 players were injured and the Driver was killed, so how that is unhurt is beyond me lol. Africa has always been a dangerous country so FIFA knew what they were doing when they selected SA but it's only fair to give Africa a chance to host the World Cup and proove that they can do it.

And the point is it's a tournament to see who the best team in the continent is, AKA our Euro Championships.
