    The good -
    Okay processor
    Huge screen and good quality
    Very responsive touch screen
    Built in 3G/Wifi
    Built in bluetooth
    USB ports

    The bad -
    No WebCamera
Could have had more Hard drive space (128gb)
Could have a bigger + better processor
The ugly picture frame that its surrounded by :@

All in all its an okay device, its like when the first iPod Touch came out, it was underwhelming, but revolutionary. It's just like when the first iPhone was released, underwhelming, yes, but still revolutionary. I'm sure Apple will nurture, market and develop (the 2G model next year, already thinking about it!) - this device in such a way that by this time next summer the iPad will be huge.

You can now bet your bottom dollar that the iPhone 4G will now have multitasking (because of the 1ghz processor they will use from the iPad), 1ghz processor, and 64/128gb memory + a better camera (5mp).
    The big winner = iPhone.

I just don't think teenagers are the target market for this product.

If you were someone in america floating about all the time working on the computer, I can totally see why this would be handy.

You know what'd be a sweet? A 15" iPad. Kinda like half way towards the Microsoft Surface where it could be used as a "Hub" for the home.

i envisage this as a device that in a decade or so will be popular in every household. the things we saw on TV and film where houses are controlled by a single device; heating, curtains, phone calls etc, that is what this is the beginning of, but a more mainstream version..

I think 15" would be to big IMO. :/

I think the size they have got is perfect, just want them to get rid of that awful picture frame around it.

The OS just looks wrong on it at the moment, but hopefully theyll develop that like they did on the iPhones/iTouch.

Windows 7 already has tablet features built in, so did Vista, but 7 has been optimized yet more over Vista for tablet use.

I don't really see the point of it. If it was like an actual laptop then I might be interested, then again it would only be a Mac. I haven't got an iPhone either so I'll just wait until they make a really good one of them and get that. I have no need for whatever this iPad is supposed to be.

I agree with GommeInc as well, it just looks like a giant iPhone or iPod Touch and the name is terrible. The point about the American pronunciation is a good one too, although you would think they would realise this at the off, given they're all American anyway.

I remember hearing or reading somewhere that the tablet version of 7 would have alot lobbed off it to save space. I knew about the touchscreen features already available in Vista and 7 though (HP Touchsmart )

I think it's crap at the moment, although I haven't seen it for real and we will wait until then. But I was really expecting more from Apple with their "tablet", shame they didn't produce it.
