oh dear oh dear sounds pretty bad. if your headteacher started crying they obviously aren't fit to run the school. the kids should have been able to voice their opinions about the soldiers without physical retaliation, but violence from either side isn't going to help.

anyone saying 'the asian kid should have been given a smack,' why? you can't force someone to respect someone, it has to be earned, not automatically given. A lot of people don't believe that the armed forces are completely and totally respectful - i'm trying not to generalise, but alot of the people who go into the armed forces aren't quite angels.

Why is it this sounds seriously unbelievable? I mean in all seriousness if this did happen I am sure it would have reached the news? A group of soldiers don't get verbally assaulted without the news finding out. And if they didn't you must surelyhave had the police in arresting these people who were verbally assaulting the soldiers?

Well it does seem very disrepectful but perhaps the Head teacher could have forseen some of this.

    My post wasn't bad?

If people from other countries MOVE to this country then have the damned ignorance to insult our soldiers, than I am sorry but I stand by my word.

I wouldn't move to Turkey forever and then say how much their country's soldiers should die? If I went to Afghanistan and said something about their soldiers I would be HUNG. So as I say in no way am I taking back that comment.

    Totally agree with you there.

If these kids are so against our troops keeping this country safe for them to live in, then in my opinion they don't even deserve to be educated and they shouldn't be able to live here - morale that is the problem with this country, you come here to live a "better life" but when war breaks out between us and your country of origion, you support your own country, the place you left and turnt your back on. I'm just very shocked by this.

    Blaming your headteacher is wrong.

This is a school in the UK so surely BRITISH soldiers should be allowed to visit in peace, your head probably didn't realise how disgusting some of his/her students are. Anyone who calls a soldier a baby killer is just terrible. I wish a teacher didn't intervene when that guy was going to kick the person who had a go at the soldiers :@.
