When salamanders are young and still in the larval stage they feed by movement, and if the movement they feel just happens to be a brother or sister, then WHACK, dinner!

Sounds lovely hahaha not a good idea if they are all "located" in the same area.. mother nature really needs to sort these things out

I am aware of this fact. I had it due to the mate having died and my friend no longer wanting it. She is now happy with my sister, who is well aware of the fact that they are social creatures. I am excited someone knew what a Degu was!

Technically crayfish, lobsters are saltwater They originate from Australia from what I am told.

I must agree though, even if your sister is aware of the fact, what is she or you doing about it? Degu really do need a full time mate or 2. Consider investing in another?

She told me she is just going to give it extra attention and handle it all sorts of all the time. I have a lady that was going to give me 3 males for nothing, which I told her sister, but she still only wanted the one.
