If you said door *** and were referring to a door ****, it would not or should not be considered avoiding the filter. The word is only really classed as avoiding the filter if you are using it in the context of the filtered word. Moderators are encouraged to use their judgement and in certain situations I would not encourage them to infract for a minor rule break such as that that could be an accident. I will, therefore, instruct the Moderators in case they aren't fully aware of this.
