Does online gaming have a negative impact on teenagers in society? [ENDS 09/05/2010]

I wouldn't say I'm addicted to gaming but it's a daily thing. I'll go out if someone wants me to go out but if I'm at home I'm usually either on computer or XBOX. It's just what I do. Some people read books, I play games. I don't see a problem.

im exactly the same, ill go out with my friends but at home if im bored ill come on, my mum keeps trying to tell me im addicted, but tbh, ive got nothing better to do. if i did then i would do it :L

but in some cases, people can get addicted and affects them in lots of different ways.

IKR, I played GTA III when I was like 6-8 (can't quite remember) and if anything I'm the least violent person in my year :L It is a way to escape reality because irl I would never hurt anyone physically so I just like to go on GTA and kill those hookers or knife someone on COD, you could say it's my stress relief too.

I was playing the original GTA when it first came out when I was about 5 People just use games as something to blame for their own actions because they aren't man enough to control themselves.
