Both from City youth with the slim exception of Richards however his main time was with us. We then have Kompany who looks like a future captain, a player whose mother made him turn down Manchester United in his teens so he could complete his education in Belgium. I'll throw in the 'forgotten man' who goes by the name of Stevie Ireland. We've also brought in that next big English winger who may have got himself a WC spot however I'm not too sure... what's his name again? Ahh Adam Johnson. Talking of Johnson we also have the CM Michael Johnson who Rafa is interested in but we like him, only problem is he's been hampered with injuries. We also have Boyata and Mee from the youth setup who look to be pretty decent aswell as Helen, the young french LB. I'm sure you've heard of him being a loyal United fan. We also have Ibrahim who Mancini appears to like aswell as Weiss who I can't wait to get back from loan off Bolton next season, I presume you saw his assist on the weekend? Oh yeah then we have David Ball who looks the next big thing and is coming back from fitness and also Alex Nimely who ironically signed a a new contract today (http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news...signs-new-deal). We also have the 16 year old Spanish CM who we signed up last season, Joan Angel Roman.

We've also produced Sturridge who is now at Chelsea and scored on the weekend. Who else have we got, ahh SWP who was released at the age of 15-16 something by Nottingham(?) for 'being too small'. Aswell as those we've also produced Etuhu whose having a successful time in Europe at Fulham, Jordon whose at Burnley, Barton at Newcastle, Miller at the Baggies etc.

We have one of the best, if not the best youth staff member in Jim Cassell whose highly rated in the coaching world. Oh and we won the Youth Cup a few years ago which included the likes of Weiss and Ball against a Chelsea side which included a Mr Kakuta.

Now remind me who you've produced since the era of Scholes and 'Giggs' who you poached off us.
Giggs wanted to play for us, simples.
    OOPS I DID IT AGAIN..

Apparently Richards is "more likely than not" to join Spurs this summer.

    Oh ino.

    Before he moved to athletico

Independiente's Argentine teenage sensation Sergio Aguero says he would prefer to join his boyhood club and Champions League holders Liverpool rather than German champions Bayern Munich.

Last week Bayern confirmed their interest in the 17-year-old Aguero, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or a striker, but the Argentine talent is holding out for a move to English side Liverpool.

"If I had to choose a league then it would be the Premier League," Aguero is quoted as saying in the Munich TZ newspaper.

"I have been a Liverpool fan for as long as I can remember and it would be a dream to play there.

"I watched the Champions League final and celebrated every goal as if it was for Independiente."
    Course he would.

This. This basically sums it all up. Giggs, Schools, The Neville Brothers, O' Shea and the others, They all wanted to play for Man Utd just because it's Man Utd.
I doubt none of them players you mentioned snowing didn't think to themselfs, "OH GOD MAN CITY. MONEY MONEY MONEY"

Your post is pretty funny because it highlights the bad elements of academy level.

The players which have joined us (the ones I've listed) have come before the money was even invested (I would have thought you'd have worked that out considering the ages of them?) simply because it's 'Manchester City'. When you're a young player and a team such as West Ham, Arsenal or Manchester City come in for you then you know you've got some decent talent. Those three clubs are three of the best youth setups in this country.

The players which Manchester United sign at a young age as you clearly stated only sign because "it's Man Utd". These players aren't very good. Obertan, Richardson, Frazier Campbell etc. They all end up playing in the Championship or lower level or if they're lucky or a mid-table/relegation fighting club.

If a player is smart and has one offer from Manchester City/West Ham/Arsenal and another from Man Utd he'd opt for Manchester City/West Ham/Arsenal, Helen the French LB is a prime example of thise.

One last point, who are 'the others'. As stated I'm looking for some talent since the 'Scholes, Neville, Beckham era'.

Has been the side for alot, alot of the season. VDS and Ferdinand are certain first teamers, Rafael is come and go, as is Scholes.
