Image from today - sorry its such bad quality but I don't want to go near the nest so i'm using zoom and its very dark.
You should be able to see an eye and a beak, the mother was out getting food when I snuck the shot.

Loving the updates, keep 'em coming![]()
Time for an update!
One baby was carried out by the parents after dieing in the nest, and another one got snatched by a cat. So that leaves about 3 left if those ones are ok that is.
Did you see those things happen?![]()
Omg, why didnt you protect them from the cat!
About 6 years back there was a nest in my shed, it was cute watching them learning to fly, they'd fly into the living room windows etc, but it was a shame, we found a few dead under things in the garden (they'd go under there and get stuck)![]()
That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.
Nope, but my dad did on both occasions.
Impossible to see it coming, cats are fast when in 'predator mode' and I think my dad was in the shed for tools or something.
We have Blue ***'s that come back to our bird box every year
Not sure how Robins react, but be careful not to scare the parent away![]()
Awh
You set your cat on them, don't lie. ;lll
