Could anyone turn you gay/straight

To be honest I really don't think you can "turn" homosexual/bisexual, its a sexual preference you are born with (i.e. if your straight, you were obviously born straight and your not gay, opposite way around for homosexuals).

However I reckon if you normally go for the opposite sex and you are attracted to a particular member of the same sex you are not "turned gay", it is possibly the realisation of a bisexuality, again, that you've always had.

I don't think you're born with your sexuality but that doesn't mean its your choice. Its the way your body develops in response to your social situation. To me that is the most logical explanation because it explains why homosexuality is more prominent in certain cultures and situations, I mean did you know that studies have shown that for every Brother a Male has he is around 30% more likely to be homosexual?

Anyway I agree with you to a certain extent Undertaker. People should be free to think whatever they wish, however when they start acting upon these thoughts is when its wrong. We should appreciate the freedom of those who do not like Homosexuals for whatever reason but equally the freedom of Homosexuals must be protected and if you allow people to act on the basis of prejudice then that freedom is violated.
