Haway man, this is international football. Defensive is how it's played. Plus, you can get better over-laps with players like Milner and Gerrard who will cut in from the wing.

i think the squad would have been so much better if hargeaves had been fit, he was our best player in 2006 world cup and is a much better cdm than barry. great with set plays and just a better all round player than barry imo
