Meh, I consider him part of this generation because he'll be 30 by the time of the next WC but he probably would play a part.

Add Cattermole to that list too. A very good holding midfielder considering his age.

He is, but he's dirty. He will always throw his heart and soul into a match. Much like England's current captain. But I would, as an England fan, prefer to see Cattermole deployed from the bench once we're winning so he can really clasp hold of the game, stop the other team picking up steam. He reads the game really well.

Wilshire is Englands next Gerrard/Lampard ! And Rodwell is the next big midfielder. Forgot about Huddlestone though, he could be good. Oh and Cahill. Gibbs > Baines in the future as well imo.
