What do you think Caused all the Listeners to Drop?

i think a listener's forum should be arranged, where listeners and dj's alike can go to a pre-arranged room, and have a discussion & debate over what hxl needs and how they can improve the service.

like garion said earlier, i'm gonna be honest, a lot of forum users do NOT listen to hxl, and henceforth really have no right to complain.

and as i said earlier (in a thread which is basically a carbon copy of this ;/.) was that i as a dj aim to bridge the gap between forum & hxl, because i think it needs doing significantly.

i think in one of the other threads there was a suggestion about maybe bringing a listener on air? personally i feel thats actually a good idea, maybe do it like once a month/week?

No idea, the only things I could see from bringing the room onto habbo were pros can't think of any cons. It would get Habbox's name out more, a bit of advertising. I brought up the thing about the rare values desk as well and how most of the previous ones have failed but it didn't make any difference lol.

I'm not a listener tbh so I wouldn't know. However, the times I have listened, I felt that the DJs were speaking too fast which made it really hard for me to understand what they were saying, making me switch off!

there's a great way to do it, if its recorded whilst the songs are on and then play it instead of speaking so you deffo know that there's not going to bed any swearing

they are all too young and i only tuned in when they were over the age of 16

I think the listeners like the fact there are younger DJs, since most listeners are also young. Which makes them not afraid to apply to become a DJ.

I agree - when i was assistant manager I made a room on Habbo as a chill room for a place that DJs and listeners could go and talk with each other and stuff as I know it is something the listeners would like and they'd feel more involved if they could just go and talk to them - I know the listeners would love that. Anyway I made the room and got told I wasn't allowed to use it by Roxy because that's what the help desk is for, which it clearly isn't but hey!

That room was a really good idea, shame you couldn't use it.

It was on topic. The listeners drop when DJs party in the HxHD. This comes into, "MORE DJ INVOLVEMENT."

I think its the DJs. I saw a thread about HxL earlier and so i decided to tune in for the first in like a year. I go on, and for the few like 2 minutes its just some girl with a cough mumbling to herself with the occasional silences and giggles to herself. Honestly? If someone had just tuned in for the first time they would have most likely turned off (i did) and those who were listening probably got bored. I dont know if that happens a lot because i find HxL really boring, playing songs that aren't my cup of tea (lady gaga ¬.¬), but it shouldn't really happen at all if you wanna keep it with a good reputation.
