Whats the point?
They look like seats anyway??
+ they are wasting aircraft space anyway

I would hate standing on a long flight, wouldn't mind a short journey though. But next we'll most likely have convertable planes!
there already is "convertible" planes , they just cant fly at a high altitude. I'd pay $5 to stand on a short flight, cheaper then gas

I wouldn't do it on my first ever trip on an plane, but in the future I wouldn't mind going anywhere, the good thing you get out of it is a cheap flight and a lovely holiday
Oh I don't mind if it's something like that, although no doubt it would be a nightmare if you were claustrophobic. If it saves me a bit of money it won't be too bad and I doubt it'll be that uncomfortable, it's just it'll be far more than £5 once it comes down to it. Try being sandwiched on the London Underground during rush hour and trying not to fall over like dominoes once the train comes to a stop. Baggage, airport fees, credit card fees, check-in fees, it all adds up. For instance I found some "free" BMI Baby flights the other day, £41 with taxes + charges, £25 for baggage and £15 to check-in, not even close to being free.

I flew to the french alps in 45 minutes but even a short flight like that noone will want to stand. You would feel like cattle
