Well if you check http://tip.it theres a calculater which tells you what you get from alching bows, armour ect and when you sell to a store you get the same amount as you would from a low alchemy

im lvl 17 magic and tht didnt really help how can i use it

Alchemy In real life was the process of turning things(often lead) into gold (It didnt work but meh) Twas like early chemistry

So I imagine the spell lets you turn your items into gold (If it is a spell) Hope I am right ^_^
