I have a sony vaio and its the best laptop ive had in ages
dont go with dell they go EXTREEMLY slow
when i first got myne it took an hour 2 close down.

Different computers have different specifications Sacha. You cannot say an entire brand of computers is slow based on one model because every model is completely different

Takes 20 seconds to shutdown the ones we buy at school, and that includes syncing files across the network. Don't see the problem with them to be honest.
