I jog for half an hour every morning (mon-fri) and do some free weights in the garage every 2 days. No real intention of building huge muscles, just bigger than the shrimp I am lol.

Well actually no, I will take creatine. If the water intake is above average then you're completely safe, just take it in cycles. It'll help with quicker gains, admittedly they'll be a small advantage on the amount you can lift compared to someone who isn't on creatine but it'll still be an advantage. You'll also have more energy in a workout. When you first start it you'll get quick gains which is why it's good to have it over monthly cycles.

As for whey protein, correct about the diet however whey protein has a lot of big advantages. I won't repeat them on here but if you do your research you'll find them. But please, I don't mean to sound like a **** when I say this PaulMacC and I know you probably didn't mean it in a degrading sense when you said don't take creatine but the amount of people I've heard say that in real life in a degrading tone as if they know best is endless. The majority of people don't even do the research. If you're wanting to get the 'big' look whilst gaining actual muscle it can be good to mix creatine in with a sensible diet, a lot of water, other supplements and a good schedule. I believe it was you who made a thread a while ago asking for help as you're skinny and that, you should look into weight gainers. If you're skinny you need the initial fat to turn into muscle.

Now I hope my post didn't come across twatish PaulMacC and I'm sure you didn't mean it in a negative manner, but it does get annoying when you've put research into things before intaking them and yet you still get people talking to you believing they know best when really, perhaps they should focus on their own intakes first.

Last time I weighed myself I was about 12 stone 4.. which was a few months ago so would be about that weight then.

And I agree with Paul, I have taken protein shakes before but stopped after my 5lb tub ran out. I just eat a lot of fish now.

I'd rather eat a few bananas for energy before a workout than ever take creatine. The risks just aren't worth it. Even in moderation you'll eventually screw up sometime with it.

I'm not even big Jess :p
People who are huge, are normally people who have lots of fat + muscle. Pure muscle on its own would be a right challenge.
Majority are mesomorphs as well, as they gain weight and muscle very easily, but very few are skinny like me XD

    I only weigh 12.7st ! You'll see I'm not big.

Creatine is natural, you're just adding to it and in a few months cycle can see a good outcome. If you intake enough water you have no worries.

I don't think 12.7st is that fat for a lad if I'm honest. and I've been told muscle weighs more than fat so maybe it's a good thing i've put on weight.

Remember I don't have a gym membership, you do. Roid head haha
