At what age you first travelled on a plane by yourself?

never went by myself, its normally with friends or family.

I've never travelled on my own on plane before, I'm 17 and I'd still be scared to do that on my own

Airports freak me out a bit, they're soooo busy. I'd probably get lost.

I would have thought there was some rules but we saw a kid travelling on his own a couple of years ago, and he only looked about 12/13. He had a member of airline staff to walk him through security, get him on the plane, make sure he's ok, etc.

I travelled alone on a plane first time when i was 13, and it was a long 14 hours flight to hong kong

i'll probably be doing that soon ^

but stopping over at holland first.. i doubt i'll find the right plane myself
