First impressions? Black ops

I have to agree with the above. You can't knife someone who's six feet away...

Multiplayer is a lot of fun but sometimes frustrating. I'm enjoying single-player, but it really is just about as far removed from reality as you could possibly get, even with its alternate history. They also totally ripped off the final level of Vietcong, one of the greatest FPS' I have ever played way back when in like '03 or something, on the Vietnam mission. The game is still nonsensical, needlessly cinematic and pretentious garbage, but it's fun. Oh, and why are the graphics worse than Modern Warfare 2? Now I know they aren't everything, but when you're the biggest game in the world, you can't put out a title with extremely dated graphics.

It shouldn't matter about it being the other developer. It's not like they can't afford to make the graphics quite literally the best the consoles can handle.

I have a feeling they havnt used the texture streamer well, alot of the shadows are poor and I dont see the same effect on BO stuff with MW2 stuff. Thats the only graphical fault I see.

That's a huge if though, me and a couple of friends had to restart matchmaking like ten times last night before it put us into the lobby.

The M16 is very strange, it can take from 1 to around 4 burst to kill somebody, i tested this in a private match, all bursts in the same spot

Online is random, can take any range of bullets to kill people, you'll have two running at you.. One shot one of them and the other takes a full mag to kill.. It's silly.
