No I'm saying, some people have more a chance of survival in some cases if they can afford private health care. I didn't know to an extent if his problem was treatable with a 40 million pound surgery, in some problems their is.

In the UK a few private hospital firms rely on the NHS to undertake their surgery procedures. At the moment, you're better off going for a Government owned healthcare system for anything like brain surgery (or any serious operations) as they're the better funded out of the options available. Private Surgery is only really "amazing" for cosmetic surgery, or anything to do with hips, arms and legs. Anything in the abdomin and chest tends to be left for the public sector - unless of course you're having fat reducing operations

Naturally, Jobs only has the private sector to rely on for operations. He has the money to go and see the best professionals and specialists, but for us ordinary people you'll be getting just as bad a time in hospital as the NHS - money doesn't necessarily make things better in the US, some just take your money and give you a sub-standard hospital visit.
