In reply to what Richie said about rare values, it might be easier if you use the 'graph page' - click the green/red arrow on any item to take you to it. That way, it's a lot easier to load and navigate imo, and it's more like the old version .

It is but takes the piss to load. I think normal items are just clogging up the rare values. It's called rare values for a reason. It's not like you can give users much information on a pod it's not like they zoom up to a whole 3 coins. People only really need help with rares because you can't buy them out of the official catalogue, yeah they can buy them from the marketplace but they could get ripped off. I say scrap the normal furniture.

Richie, your first post says this has been "designed" for over a year - that's bull ****, this site was designed in December/January - the specification released in October. That's not a year.

I think for an early beta release this is excellent, originally we weren't planning to release V6 until the latter end of next week but due to the Hx.com backups being corrupted we had to go with an early release, considering David has pretty much coded this single handedly I think it's damn impressive and I can't tell him what a brilliant job he's done. I remember working with him on the most basic of v6 designs in December/January and if I showed you some of the images you would be so shocked at the difference from what we had then to what's been released now, it's absolutely phenomenal. This site won't just be easier for users either, it's 100x more easier for staff with a more advanced yet more simple Habbox Today system, Habbox Jobs system, News System & Rare Values system.

Although you guys may think this beta release is quite simple to what you were expecting, this site will revolutionise Habbox and looking at the plans for V6 when it comes into more stable versions, this will be a site that provides things that no other Habbo fansite can - which is our ultimate aim at the end of the day.

Scott - you seem to be moaning an awful lot about HxL, get over it - HxL hasn't merged with Hx.com yet and when we do merge it will be a lot different, there'll practically be a setting where you can click "habboxlive" and your homepage will be set to suit HxL only. Stop being selfish towards one department, at the moment V6 is there to cover all departments and the widget list is good, however I did say this to David the other week - I think the competitions widget should be default also.

The comments about Habbo news being the default too - this should have also been the case, it was mentioned in a meeting the other day however it may have been missed as obviously this was an emergency early release, but yes - Habbo news should be the default and rl news or the "all news" widget should be all.

There's still a lot of work to do, as it's an emergency release our priority is getting staff used to it, then we need to advance stuff like the navigation and then further releases will add more features etc, from what I know more things should be added on quite a frequent basis - it's an ongoing project. If we had released it as one, all singing all dancing site not tested by the masses then let's face it it would flop on it's face, this way we can have the all new system (the back end system was coded just for habbox too, nobody else has this system) tested by the masses and then add more to it as we know it's stable. If we tried to make a seriously impressive site for first release and it flopped (which it would if we tried) you'd all be pissing yourselves at everything.

I cannot thank David enough for the work he's done on this site and seriously, just watch out for what's coming because it's gonna be impressive for a Habbo fansite.
I'm not being selfish at all...I work for HabboxLive so I'm saying things which I think are needed for habboxlive and saying to move a request line is hardly being selfish it's giving a suggestion which I think would be better for everyone. But ok if that's me being selfish I will keep my ideas to myself in future!

Twitter feeds has already been done na but really its sounds interesting but I'm sick of all the anticipation, everyone sets their standards high and then it's just one big disappointed, just do it if you're going to do it.

Right kk I've read a couple of posts here but mainly this is just going from my head.

Overall, it's excellent, I think for a first release the work has paid off and well done to David mainly for coding this all from scratch. Well done David.

However, that doesn't dodge the problems I have with the site! I certainly agree with the Habboxlive scenario, the request line is at the bottom, if I'm purely honest I'd expect it to be above the Habbox Today. I wonder how many requests there's going to be today as quite frankly it took me about 20 minutes to find it.

On that Habbox Today note, I don't like the transitions nor the randomised idea of it. I've seen Rare Values and HxHD about 5x more than Comps, Events and HxHD- if the forum has one I've never seen it and I've had it rotating since I've got up at like 8:45. Maybe have a rotation of however many there are but in that however many the way it goes is random? Not sure if that made sense. I also think it would be nice if they were pushed up when changing as an immediate switch looks ugly and personally I don't like the Habbox Today like that.

In addition, I agree with the sort of way people wouldn't sign up for widgets. 1) It's not publicly advertised. 2) It's the only feature. 3) It's complex to work it out, it took me a while to find out what the hell Robbie meant by the Competitions widget. Without being too greedy, I think it would be nice to have the Competitions listed on the page by default as Events and Competitions are of course what new users want: prizes.

On the other hand, I'm glad there is a Competitions widget. I thought "nah, this will never work" when I suggested it however David seemed to nail it on the head so well done to him, guess our consistent titles paid off! However, is it possible to put the dates in chronological order 'cos at the moment it is whoever's posted last and this does make it look a little tacky on the actual site? If you could, that would be excellent. I was gonna bring up another idea but if Jin didn't understand before (although it wasn't toooo hard to understand) there's no point doing it with so little time.

Also, just out of interest? Where are the job openings or aren't they there at the moment? It'd be nice to see how that page works now as with comps apps open atm (hint hint ), it would be nice to know.

Is there any way to implement HxF smilies on here? Sometimes we do use smilies in our competitions and because V6 hasn't noticed them, there's just a big space, such as in one of my competitions. Again that would be a nice feature to include.

I applaud you on the Rare Values part purely because of the amount of effort sorting out all the images Dan, David and Luke all put in, well done. I'm not too keen on normals being included too, however, it just means more categories and it means more space wasted looking for your category. Normally it's common sense to work out how much a norm is worth. Especially as some of them haven't even been updated yet!

Fantastic job though guys and it'll be nice to see further developments!

Not when I'm signed in there isn't!

Oh yeah one more thng, what would be good is to change the colours of the names (excluding moderation). An unbolded for non-staff (or staff but do not need the actual site), dark green for staff, light green for manages and lime for GM. It just makes it consistent and less confusing

not the kind of 'spoiler' effect, other than that. I approve of it and HFFM seem jealous.
LOL what, noone at hffm has noticed it.

anyway imo some of the colours clash such as the dark blue and the orange, and it looks a bit too much like davzy which annoys me LOL

in general, it's okay.. i'm a bit let down tho LOL
