Top banter points Jake, I must admit lol.

Sorry, but people shouldn't have to expect that some loser is going to give them an account then revert it or whatever?LOL at this thread.
Jake, you never cease to amuse!
And the people butthurt... It's Jake, what do you expect? He's been doing this kind of thing for year and years.
But on a serious note, it's his account, he has every right to take it back. Just be glad that you were "given" it and didn't buy it.
How is Shane, anyway? tell him hi from me.
Desperate for online **** or what
Fact is, it's HIS account. He has every right to take it back. Account sharing is against the rules anyway... And with all rule breaking there is an element of risk. Although not in this case because... The person who was "given" the account didn't really lose anything... Since it wasn't theirs in the first place. And it looks as if they weren't even using it anyway. Common sense should tell you if something is too good to be true... Then it probably is.
I have no idea what your last sentence is...
Wait so if I tell you I don't want my iPod anymore, and give it to you, then one month later go in to your bag/house and steal it back - you wouldn't care? Despite the fact you may have bought music for it since then?Fact is, it's HIS account. He has every right to take it back. Account sharing is against the rules anyway... That is like this account, people may have paid for more membership, earned a lot of gold (so yes they would be losing something!), then a low life who let them have an account (which isn't unheard of, if you didn't know), steals the account back?
That isn't fair, and quite simply pathetic.
Totally different situation. Giving someone an iPod isn't going against Apple's T&Cs for one.Wait so if I tell you I don't want my iPod anymore, and give it to you, then one month later go in to your bag/house and steal it back - you wouldn't care? It might not be fair, I never suggested it was. Fact still remains, it's his account, he can do what he likes with it. Any effort/money put into that account was done so with risk. It doesn't take much common sense to understand those risks... I certainly wouldn't put money into an account a stranger on the internet gave me. Hell, I wouldn't even with a friend (especially a friend like Jake who is well known for doing stuff like this).
No, he has to abide by the rules as well. If he is giving someone his account he is still at fault.Totally different situation. Giving someone an iPod isn't going against Apple's T&Cs for one.

What rules? There's no rule saying "you must not take your account back if you give it to someone" because rules state that account sharing is against the rules.
Yeah, it's a douchey thing to do... But don't **** bricks over it.
No but it's still classed as account sharing, feel free to ask on the runescape forums if you don't believe me.

Richie is correct its still classed as account sharing, especially in Jagex's eyes.
