I don't hate buying anything anymore. I used to be terrified of buying sanitary products, until the time I brought some and the cashier in Boots was too busy talking to her friend on the other till to care what I was buying. I'm fine buying them now but I always shove the carrier bag into my own bag because it's practically see-through so everyone can see when I leave the shop!

Because I like to be served by a human being rather than a machine, I like to think also that if enough of us refused to use them then large chain stores would stop replacing staff with these machines.

i LOVE self checkouts but i actually hate when you put it in the bags and they keeps saying "please put this item in the bagging area" when you already have! they're meant to save time but half the time they take longer
