I don't care about that. There are things I don't like about OS X. There are things I don't like about Windows. I'm going to express what I dislike whether Matt or Tom like it or not and I know they will too, because it's not life or deathBecause like Matt and others, I "support" Windows. I generally don't use Apple products (although I can see the benefits and good things about some of them).
Can we look at this like football teams. Manchester United and Chelsea.
If there are five Manchester United fans and one Chelsea fan, it is quite obvious the Chelsea fan will get ripped, and everyone will poke fun at him and saywhy Manchester United is better. Yet if the Chelsea fan tries to pick fun at MU and take the micky out of something they will get the negative end of the stick. It doesn't take a ******* genius to work out that if the majority of people "support" one team over another, the majority will always appear to "target" the minorities team since they would be in the majority seat. Just like if the majority of people in a conversation prefer Windows to OSX, it is obvious whoever supports the 'minority' OS will get the negative end of the stick.
"How Funny."![]()

Don't get so upset over the matter Dear David. Express all you like about Windows 8 but I just wished your first post actually said more!
I wish yours accepted the very notion that perhaps everything out of your home companies doors is not shimmering in golden beauty. I'm aware and hoping they change the UI to look more attractive prior to other releases but I'm not talking about those releases. I am talking about the release of Windows the screenshot posted was taken from, and to repeat my initial point it looks like pure crap.

Engadget lololol nothing to see here folks

and that release is a Build XXXX which isn't the final version or even Beta nor is the UI final.
Lmao. Sorry but I prefer Windows over Mac but this argument is stupid.
If someone showed you a Beta of a website said its going to be ages till it is finished and they are just trying a few different things, and you didn't like something you'd say. You wouldn't think oh its a beta, it's going to change so I'm not going to give my opinion.
People need to just calm down. Windows has its features, Mac has its features they both have differences, they both have similarities, and I really wish people could simply accept that. I don't mind people criticising either, but when ever someone posts something about either, instead of debating what you think about the news, it turns out into a war, as if people have to drag the other in. And the problem is if a mac fan say's something they don't like about Windows, e.g. don't like the new look, they get shot down, as if they are only saying it because they are a mac fan, and vice versa.
I will probably end up liking the finger friendly UI on Windows 8 which includes the start menu and button (or whatever they become) in the final release. I just don't like how it looks in this current release![]()

My loves, please, stop fighting and just hug alreadyMac OS X Snow Leopard and Lion were just Service Packs you pay for, Apple have patents they shouldn't be allowed to create and Jobs' legacy is leaving this world knowing he has created more court cases than is physically possible.
<insert something imperfect about Microsoft here>
EDIT: Is it actually current release, or just a sampler video of an OS that seems to be in the early stages of development? It probably won't turn up on the final product - caring about something that is months/years ahead of us is unwise![]()

I'm not actually sure, but BUILD is next week where they will be showing the next version of Windows. It might be called "Windows 8" it might not, there's stories going round that 8 is just still a codename for the time being. Either way, the version they show at BUILD will also have some missing features that will get added at a later stage. My loves, please, stop fighting and just hug alreadyMac OS X Snow Leopard and Lion were just Service Packs you pay for, Apple have patents they shouldn't be allowed to create and Jobs' legacy is leaving this world knowing he has created more court cases than is physically possible.

There comes a point where you are intentionally trying to slander windows to annoy, or you're just being plain dumb. It's not difficult to realise that:
a) It's not final
b) It's probably a UI test/bug
c) It's probably a programmer screwing around with stuff which incidentally got screen captured because some eejit realised that every tech blog and their mothers and yourself would immediately assume "Oh that's final and I guess this is what windows is like from now on since everything non-apple must be terrible.".
d) You're a troll. Stop trolling.
