day of school on wednesdayyyyyyy

You're all very lucky as by the sounds of it i am the only one in school And I have English + Maths as well because our teachers said they weren't striking At least I don't have double french and music! Even though music was the only lesson i liked about wednesday! Pity me while i'm in school slaving away doing exam coursework + prep and you're all at home doing whatever you want :L!

Got up at 6am, had three hours sleep, went into uni, turns out my lectures had been cancelled. Why did no one tell me. All that missed sleep...

2/3 of my lecturers were off on strike but we were still supposed to go to a lecture from 9 till 10. everyone on my course was ~boycotting~ the lecture because they're "in favour of strikes" aka just want a day off. i was the only one that came in cause i wanted to hand in my research investigation plan and then spend most the day in the library haha WHAT A TRAITOR. but seriously, the strikes affect pupils too. i do more work on my days off and weekends than i do when i'm actually here, i'm sorta glad i had most of the day to finish off an assessment but i really would have liked the time to ask my tutor if i was doing it right before i carried on but he was striking
spose school is different. at least you have a whole weekend. i can't miss more than 2 days or i fall sooooo behind so i force myself to come to library monday-saturday afternoon even though i only have lectures/tutorials from tuesday to thursday. (i use sunday to be hungover...) it's so quiet here though and the bus had about 3 students on it..
