Apologies you took this some what personally, but he hardly holds an esteem, he holds more of an opinion. It's widely known he's controversial for the fun of it, doing the opposite of what is right for "Teh Lols"

I can hold a sign, big whoop, do something productive, use youinitiative... Frankie Boyle has said much worse things, so has multiple other TV personalities, so has tens of thousands of humans. you judged me enough to think i had no world experience. and lmao, frankie boyle is funny and his controversial words have some humour behind them. jeremy clarkson is a boring egotistical idiot who seems to think he's funny, when he's not. i agree in that it shouldn't have been THAT BIG A DEAL. but he's not funny, his joke doesn't amuse me and obviously others.

Im absolutely sick to death of the unions, their champagne socialist leaders, the workers of the public sector protesting about their pension and the left of the political spectrum.

You can hate me all you want for saying this but THERE ARE NO CUTS!!!!, when will people actually look at the figures and understand that public spending is not decreasing and therefore wiping out the defecit (so we run a surplus) until 2017 at the EARLIEST!. 2017 is when we are no longer contributing to the debt, but the debt will still be there. Our total debt is already enroaching onto the 80% mark. There is no money left in the kitty for ANYTHING as anything we are spending is not ours as we do not have any money left!. I've tired to be clear, I really have but no doubt this will still go over the heads of the left wing looneys who want gold-plated pensions of whom those in the private sector could only dream about. Even if the Unions accept the current deal on the table, there will still be a £10,000,000,000 (ten billion) black hole.

Well that's wrong... there are cuts but then more money is put in other places. And in all fairness, a lot of what is implemented by the government will start happening over the next couple of years. That said the government is still ******ed to the extent that they waste so much money in stupid things which aren't vital but still cut from things which are vital, such as education.

Anyway I agree with Clarksons actual opinion (which is not to shoot strikers as that is a joke) and that they need to get a grip.

Government spending overall (ahead of inflation as well) is increasing, not decreasing/staying stable.

What the news, the papers and so on feed us about the cuts is simply untrue. This government right now is spending more than any government ever has before in the history of our nation. As I keep saying, there really is no difference between them [the political parties].

I think we should have a debt default followed by enormous cuts in government spending, but neither are happening.

Yeah its errr called a joke? which means he doesn't actually want strikers shot.. Besides I can agree with you partly because you are right on the 'the rest of us dont live a life of luxary' - thats exactly what the Unions and the public sector need to understand before they go about asking for even more generous pay packages/pensions.

Totally agree. All taken wildly out of proportion!

The strikers are ******* greedy and should be happy they're getting a ******* 1% pay rise. I work in the private sector and I'm not and my parents haven't had pay rises in three or four years. I'm not getting one of these wonderful pensions the Unions are refusing either.
