Staff name changes

I think we are missing out on some great staff because of it. I didn't want to have to change my name either. No one has needed to pm me for help enquiries. Only reason why my name had to be changed is because its easier for management to find us...? I don't see why they can't just have a list of everyones name.

I see why dj's, events and help desk staff need to have their forum name match their forum name but I don't really get rvr or comps if comps has to match, think it does but not sure.

And here what would happen if someone registered my habbo name on the forum already? or if i had a name that habbox deem as rude but habbo doesn't for example if i changed my habbo name to di.cki

before i managed to get the bethie habbo i hated being publicised but kinda took it cause i knew i had to really. rvr's i don't understand it for because they don't have a public role, hxhd i sorta don't either because there isn't much hxhd presence on the forum or out of habbo. it's not like hxhd has a forum surgery OMG THATS A GOOD IDEA. anyway.

The HxHD sub-forum (http://www.habboxforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=175) used to have quite a prominent presence on the forum index. There was a phase when management got a bee in their bonnet about too many sections (it was using space... or something...) and merged a load. That's why the animals / food / jokes sections were all merged too!

It was probably used a couple of times a month when I first joined HxHD in 2008 where staff would reply to help queries. It doesn't look like any of those sections are used at all these days though. I posted a question for the HxHD staff to answer a few months ago (in that section) and it was moved to Habbo In General... so it's probably quite pointless now!

You have the right to use your Habbo name on the forum. But if it does break the forum rules then you would be refused. As I can clearly see someone trying to do that within the next 48 hours just because of this thread.

And if i used the habbo name Di.cki my name would be filtered. would you edit the filter for me?

It's not changing for the HxHD, Events or HabboxLive.

The person who took the name would probably be forced to have a name change so you can have it for your Habbo based job at Habbox.
