It's what they teach you that makes you progress so perhaps he's a bit too self-centred for some of the public's liking.
I have seen him mentor on American Idol and he was excellent. They even invited him back to that show multiple times due to his success. Also, he will have a slight edge seeing as he is also a producer, whilst people like JessieJ, may be current, yes, but don't produce.

Maybe this is why I see the other side to him .

Perhaps but I think we'll have to agree to disagree because understandably everyone has different opinions. I think he has a lot of success but in a singing competition I would want to be coached or mentored by someone who doesn't mention their success every three minutes, which seems to be the case in the current blind auditions.

have no choice to watch whichever episode this is because my sister is watching it (recorded), but am i missing something? they won't 'turn around' for the 17 year old girl who sings amazingly, or that older woman who sings amazingly aswell, but they all turn around for the generic guy who sings a bog-standard song (with a guitar)? i mean seriously, that alone doesn't wanna make me watch this show.

Loving the Voice atm. I prefer it a lot because there is so much talent and none of the crap singers. I do think that Jessie is the most popular judge though. Tom Jones is only really for the oldies, will.i.am is kinda for the rappers or r&b styled people and danny is kinda for the like chilled out people (dno how to describe them lol)

That's just what I see anyway but I love the show and can't wait for the next round.

Imo, I think that the people that can participate in The Voice is a little short, because it's basically saying, "Only the best" but, since The Voice reaches so many viewers, how are you going to sort the good from the bad? That's why I like American Idol or Britain's Got Talent if you will, because they allow a wider range of failures to try and convince four people. Know what I mean? The Voice only lets the very best in and basically crushes any beginner's dreams of fame. Plus, if it's 'for all ages', does that mean, like, 11 through 1000000000000000, or does it mean 18 through 1000000000000000+? Because there, again, is the shortening of how many people can enter..sorry, these are just opinions!
The problem with shows like X Factor and BGT is they raise people's hopes. What some people don't realise is the contestants on these shows actually audition for producers and so the bad ones and good ones get picked - the bad ones may think they actually have talent. Some of them aren't too bad but they get knocked out quickly. At least the people on the voice have a chance. However I do at the same time like to watch the fools on the shows making a fool out of themselves.

Yeah I did ask myself why but I wonder if its due to the fact she's not the kind of style any of the artists really work with - could be hard for them.

i think i need to start watching this soon. i know that the majority of my friends have been watching it and have said it's much better than some of the other talent contests out at the moment. i'm probably going to take a look next time it's on.

I think you'll definitely enjoy it Cameron! It's an amazing concept !

This weeks was amazing, didn't like the opera girl though, glad she didn't get through,

She's good, but not for this type of show!

There are a lot of things that are personally uncomfortable to show, especially me

show my audience that you don't have to be perfect to achieve your dreams.

Well I do watch the Irish Version, it actually seems to be doing very well for itself. We had one of the people from the finals in my school last week singing a few songs, nice bloke! I do like the show though
