shy or outgoing?

I suppose shy is the wrong word for me. Because I don't mind my own company and don't mind if I don't have an entourage of friends with me (which some people crave or need), it means I'm often not too fussed about socialising and can be quite anti-social. This means that most people tend to give up even trying cos while I'm not rude or anything, I generally don't give too much away about myself. I don't think shy would work though because I can be outgoing. Because I don't have a dependance on making friends, I can be blunt and honest with people in a way no shy person would dare to do so yeah. Not shy, just anti-social haha.

I'm quite shy actually. When I'm with my friends in real life, I'm a little bit outgoing with them, but I'm still really quiet. lol I guess I'm just a quiet person. People told me that in High school too, that I'm really nice, but quiet and shy. lol Which I don't find it a bad thing at all. But then when I'm on the internet, because I'm not really physically present with anyone, I'm all outgoing. lol

i'd say i'm quite shy because i don't have much confidence and i get really nervous infront of big crowds, but if i'm surrounded by a group of people i know, i'm really loud and quite outgoing

Exactly the same as me but I guess I could say I have improved on my confidence as I am starting to not get as nervous infront of big crowds now

For me, it depends on the situation. If it's someone I'm just going to see once I'm fine and not really shy. If it's someone I'm going to see for a few years I'd be a little shy but try to get to know them. If it's someone I 'like' then I'd be pretty shy and feel awkward, not knowing what to say

i'm a very shy and quiet person really, not outgoing at all, i never really have been. i'm mostly my own company and i guess i don't mind that at all sometimes.
