A forum should be about the written content, not people's avatars.

fact of the matter is no one wants to post on an ugly looking forum. people want to go onto sites that look nice, it doesn't matter if the have the best content in the world. if their layout is **** the theres no hope lol

@Jake; i tried to get jamesy to center the green blocks years ago when he centered the rest for me lol but they spaced all weird ( i agree about the green blocks and userbars tho... pretty sure you can change them depending on the skin tho

He isnt really in the minority as the poll shows quite an even spread of opinion. I also don't see the problem with it now and feel it would make the forum look even worse with bigger avatars as well as massive signatures.

I've voted no because I think the maximum size of 150x150 is big enough and don't see why anyone needs an avatar bigger than that . As for postbit style, I use left and the width of 150 looks fine and is the same width as the info below it - the 200 width posted by Matt makes the avatar look too big and wide, and just out of place imo, especially when on smaller screens e.g. Tablets. Basically, I think it's fine as it is .

Can't you just use your signature? I wouldn't be a fan of the size being increased, I just think it's fine how it's atm. I'm not too fussed though, just don't really see the need.
